This is probably one of the most vibrant paintings ive done so far but my camera does not pick up the colors. Any advice for the best places for lighting for taking pictures of a painting? I would appreciate it. Enjoy!

nice work, you can try using a scanner, or go in with Photoshop and try messing with the curves. u can do allot with Photoshop if u have lighting and color issues.

Hmmm... using a photo editer could help make the colors more pronounced if you brighten the picture.

I'm not sure about areas for lighting though... maybe outside when it's sunny? Choosing a good position where you don't cast shadows on your picture is good.
